Ðã chung vai sát cánh chống quân thù
Vì hai chữ TỰ DO trên thế giới
Gương Anh Hùng lưu lại mãi ngàn thu

Ngăn sóng đỏ lan tràn gây thống khổ
Gieo rắc đau thương, tang tóc, tội tù,
Họ đã chết cho chúng ta được sống
Có lẽ nào ta lại lãng quên ru ?

Những sáng kiến dựng xây đài kỷ niệm
Ðể đời đời tưởng nhớ các anh linh
Ðáng trân trọng, và rất nên hỗ trợ
Cùng tiếp tay tạo dựng một công trình

Cờ Mỹ Việt, muôn năm còn ngạo nghễ
Cờ Tự Do, cớ Dân Chủ hòa bình
Và hình tượng hai Quân Nhân Mỹ Việt
Là tấm gương cao cả, đã hy sinh.

Who fought the common enemy side by side

For the cause of FREEDOM all over the world,

Setting a heroic example to last forever with pride.

To prevent the Reds from sowing suffering

And creating dolor, bereavement, yoke, thrall,

Our soldiers died for us to survive.

Could we have the heart to ignore them all?

The initiatives to erect the memorial

To eternally memorize those divine

Are worthy of our honoring, supporting

And contributing to the construction so fine.

To admire the two American and Vietnamese flags

Of Freedom and Democracy proudly fly, how nice!

And the image of American and Vietnamese warriors

Is the symbol of such sublime sacrifice...
